ABOUT ME
I was born and attended K-12 schools in Kansas. At 20 years of age I travelled for the first time from the amber waves of grain to the Pacific Ocean for service as a United States Marine.
I attended college at Rancho Santiago Community College in Santa Ana, then received a bachelor's degree in Social Ecology at UC Irvine, a master's degree in Special Education from Cal State, Los Angeles, and a juris doctor from Concord Law School. In December 2021, I earned a second master's degree in Educational Administration from Emporia State University in Kansas.
I've held positions as neighborhood grasscutter and paperboy, the editor and publisher of Linky's Edition (a neighborhood newspaper I created as a youngster), dishwasher, fast food worker and manager, air traffic controller, lifeguard, waiter, Main Street merchandise sales at Disneyland, teacher and attorney. The most important job I ever held was as a brother to my sister and a son to my mother.
After several years back in Kansas and Missouri to be near family, I returned to California in January 2022. I currently live in Tustin, close to friends and a supportive, loving community.
